Grant Proposal Writing Experience
To date, I have written more than 980 Federal, State and County proposals, corporate and private foundation grant requests, and major gift and planned giving proposals. More than 500 of these were submitted to Federal and State agencies.
Much of the initial work for several hundred of these proposals included extensive “program development” to flesh out needs, goals, objectives, outcomes and evaluation methodology, thorough line item budgets and preparation of detailed standard material (“boilerplate”). Once you have comprehensive boilerplate material, you can be ready for that next exciting funding opportunity and still stay relatively sane!
I have also reviewed more than 600 grant proposals and provided feedback and improvement suggestions to clients. As a result of all my work, clients have proposals that are more comprehensive, compelling, and competitive and they are more likely to be successful in raising money through the grants process.
